Cogniterm's DocuRAG earns CSAP SaaS Standard Grade certification

Electronic Times (etnews), June 2, 2026

The following is an English summary of the original Korean article.

Cogniterm announced that its document AI agent platform DocuRAG has earned CSAP SaaS Standard Grade certification under CSAP (Korea’s Cloud Security Assurance Program).

The article highlights that the certification covered not only the existing SaaS security criteria but also the newly strengthened security specifications for generative AI services. As a service offering generative AI features such as document search, Q&A, evidence presentation and work automation, DocuRAG was verified against key public-sector concerns including data leakage, access control, prompt security, answer reliability and auditability.

CSAP evaluates and certifies whether cloud services meet information security standards, and it is a core requirement for public institutions adopting private-sector cloud services. The SaaS Standard Grade involves a detailed review of administrative and technical safeguards as well as additional safeguards for public institutions.

According to the article, the certification formally demonstrates the security and operational reliability public institutions require when adopting generative AI services, and DocuRAG is one of the first services in Korea to pass the new generative AI security specifications. Building on CSAP-certified SaaS delivery, Cogniterm plans to enter public procurement channels such as the Digital Service Mall and expand the supply of DocuRAG to central government ministries, local governments and public institutions, reducing the burden of separate builds for each institution.

A Cogniterm representative said that applying generative AI to real public-sector work requires verifying data protection, access control, management of answer evidence and auditability, not just advanced features, calling the certification an official confirmation of the security and reliability a public-sector document AI service must have.
