The following is an English summary of the original Korean article.

The Ministry of Finance and Economy (MOFE) will hold a public data training session, “How to Use Public Data with AI Agents,” at 2 p.m. on August 13 at the M+ Innovation Hall of Seoul Startup Hub M+ in Magok, Seoul. Under the theme “Easier with AI, smarter with public data,” it focuses on real cases: using public data without coding or statistics skills, and linking recurring search, classification and analysis tasks to AI agents.

The one-hour program covers AI agent trends at home and abroad, public data use cases, the status of MOFE’s AI services, and AI security and personal information protection in the public sector, followed by a 20-minute Q&A.

The lecturer is Cogniterm CEO Jwayeon Jeong, a Professional Engineer in Information Management who led AI solution development as PM at Company L from 2006 to 2025 and has served since 2026 as a private-sector expert on the government-wide AX (AI transformation) consulting group.

With its document AI agent platform DocuRAG, Cogniterm has supported MOFE’s AI-ONE platform project and its June generative AI hackathon. Its Tax Tribunal tax review AI, which lets staff search and analyze case materials and statements of grounds for appeal alongside public materials such as related laws and similar decisions, will be introduced as a case of connecting open public data to administrative work.

“When it comes to what changes when you handle public data with AI agents, seeing cases is faster than hearing explanations,” said CEO Jeong, who plans to walk through built use cases, MOFE’s AI services and personal information protection in one session.

The free session is open to anyone, limited to the first 50 registrants via the MOFE website notices, and attendees will receive a rain-and-sun umbrella as a summer gift.
